CUS100ME is a single output 2” x 4” AC/DC supply with IEC60601-1 3rd edition medical approval as well as IEC60950-1 and is available in four mechanical formats: Open pcb, pcb with baseplate, U channel and U channel with cover.
The power supply is rated at 100W maximum output power.
With baseplate and U channel conduction cooling assistance this rating can be achieved at up to 70°C ambient temperature and with forced air cooling of 1m/s operation up to 85°C ambient temperature is possible.
It meets class B levels for both conducted and radiated emi and is
compliant with EN60601-1-2:2015 Edition 4 immunity requirements.
CUS100ME is suitable for both Class I and Class II installations, is available with 12V to 48V outputs and is ideal for medical and general applications that require silent operation with no fan noise.
Efficiency is up to 94%, and off load power consumption is less than 0.5W.
The DRM40 series of 20 to 40A DIN rail mount redundancy modules can be used in N+1 redundancy applications or to parallel two power supplies for additional power. The DRM40 has a current balancing LED indicator which is illuminated when both power supplies have been adjusted to deliver the same current. Two isolated alarm signals indicate the output voltage status of each power supply. Internally the DRM40 has a low 200mV voltage drop.
The 4” x 2.4” footprint, high efficiency PFH500 series of AC-DC power modules are used in environments where convection or forced air cooling is not viable. Suitable for outdoor enclosures or liquid cooled applications, these pcb mounted power modules accept a wide range AC input and deliver an adjustable, regulated 28V output. High ambient temperatures can be tolerated as the conduction cooled baseplate can withstand -40 to 100°C temperatures. These next generation modules also have a PMBus™ interface with read/write capability for remote monitoring and programming.
The medically certified GXE600 series offers constant voltage / constant current (CVCC) operation and read-write programming through a robust RS-485 communication (Modbus RTU protocol). Both the output voltage and current can be adjusted over a very wide range using digital or analogue programming.
The 95% efficient power supply can be operated without the need for forced air cooling, minimising system acoustic noise. The ability to read back remaining electrolytic capacitor lifetime and analyse alarm history assists preventative maintenance and troubleshooting in the field.
The DTM medical external power supplies are housed in a rugged plastic case and are rated from 40 to 300W with output voltages from 5V to 54V. With off-load power draws as low as <0.21W and high average efficiencies, the units are compliant to ErP Directives and the DoE Level V and VI standards. Class II operation (no ground wire) is available in 65W, 110W & 300W and is suitable for home healthcare applications.
